CELINE JOURNAL · EXPLORE CHA-AM
Things to do in Cha-Am with family and friends
Cha-Am is a seaside town in Thailand, north of Hua Hin. Start with Cha-Am Beach, then choose a meal out or a local outing, with time to relax at Celine in between.
CHA-AM / CELINE
Cha-Am Beach and nearby places
The beach is about 250 metres from Celine, roughly a five-minute walk. Leave time for a swim at the villa, a shared meal and an afternoon without a full itinerary.

Cha-Am Beach
Start with a walk along the seafront or some time on the sand. Choose the time and stretch that suit your group, and check local conditions before swimming.
From Celine: about 250 m on foot.
A meal together in Cha-Am
Try a seafood meal out, or bring ingredients back to the villa’s kitchen and barbecue. Ask the host about restaurants and food options, and mention any dietary requirements.
Choose a restaurant together, or plan a meal at the villa.
Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park
Consider Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park for a nature outing in the Cha-Am area. Choose routes to suit everyone’s walking ability, and check which areas are open before travelling.
Arrange transport and check the route before leaving.
An optional evening in Hua Hin
If you want a longer outing, consider Hua Hin and its night market. Treat it as a separate excursion from Cha-Am, with transport home arranged, rather than trying to fit it into every day.
Hua Hin is a different town; plan transport both ways.
CHA-AM DURING THE WEEK
Why visit Cha-Am on a Wednesday?
Spend the day by the pool or exploring nearby, then visit Cha-Am Wednesday Night Market in the evening. It is an option for a midweek holiday when dates are flexible.
Beach walks on cleaning day
On Wednesdays, some beach stretches have no rental deckchairs or umbrellas during the regular cleaning day. This does not mean all beach access is closed. Ask the host about the stretch you plan to visit.
Cha-Am Wednesday Night Market
This weekly evening market near Cha-Am railway station has food stalls, clothes and everyday goods. Allow time to browse and have something to eat. Check that the market is running on the date you plan to visit.
Outings, food and transport are arranged separately from the accommodation. Beach services and market opening arrangements can change.
See the Wednesday planA Tuesday-to-Thursday stay in Cha-Am
A midweek itinerary to adapt around the agreed check-in and check-out times.
Tuesday · settle in
Arrive at the agreed time, explore the villa and take a beach walk if it suits the day. Keep dinner simple: a shared meal out, or something prepared in the villa’s kitchen.
Wednesday · pool and market
Spend the day at the pool or on a local outing, allowing for Wednesday’s beach service arrangements. Leave the evening free for the market.
Thursday · an unhurried finish
Have breakfast together and leave time to pack and check out before noon. Any later departure needs the host’s approval and depends on availability.
Before you set out
Travelling with children or older relatives
Allow for walking distances, rest breaks and the weather. Discuss any accessibility requirements with the host before booking.
Working or travelling with colleagues
For a team stay or business trip, describe any meeting space, equipment and internet requirements. These must be confirmed by the host before booking for work.
Weather or plans change
Keep an indoor alternative: Celine has two living rooms, a kitchen and karaoke. Agree music times with the host. The pool table and waterslide are planned additions and are not available yet.
Sources and current information
Opening days, services and fees can change. Check the source links and current arrangements before setting out. For a restaurant that suits your group, ask the host about available options and dietary requirements.
